power function
I would like to find the answer to 0.8^4000 with approximately 5
significant figures (ie. x.xxxx X10^-yyyy)
But once the power factor exceeds a limit, the results are no longer
in signtific notation (MATLAB just displays 0)
Is there another way to a about it? I've tried 0.8^4000 as well as
power(0.8, 4000), which give the same result.
Thanks,
W
