Hi, we are building a 1553 system for scientific test. Is thiswith xPC.
configuration we are using a host computer and a target PC
I?m using the demo model call xposc.mdl to test myconfiguration.
After building and sending my model to xPC with the RTWcompilation (
tools->Real-time workshop->build model), I connect withtime and by
xpcExplorer to my targetPC. After a while, at a random
doing nothing, I got an error and then I get disconnectedfrom ma
target PC. After, I can reconnect with no problem but theerror
return after a random time. When I disable the refresh(xpcexplorer
-> tools -> disable refresh) this error never appear. Also,
this error can occurs with any model that I choose.
I also use TCP/IP to connect to my xPC Target PC and this
also happens with me too. And sometimes it takes a few
tries to initially connect to the Target PC. It will fail a
few times saying it cannot connect but then finally does.
With RS-232, this was never a problem. Could it be because
of the router medium? Could I see better performance if I
used a crossover cable between my Host and Target,
eliminating a router? But then I lose remote access to my
xPC :(
