Re: FOURCC Video Codec
Nick,
I'm having trouble generating AVI files that can be played
by other people, and was trying your suggested fix of
installing Windows Media 9 Codec.
I downloaded and installed the Windows Media Video 9 VCM,
following the URL you provided above.
Then I set aviobj.compression = 'wmv3' and try to generate
the AVI file. Matlab says "Warning: Not a supported
compression method. An attempt will be made to use this
compressor." and generates a tiny file (only 4kb) that
cannot be opened in any way.
Am I missing something?
Thanks a lot!
