plot a colored interpolated slice

I have meshed a cube with irregular tetrahedral (delaunay).
I have the coordinates of tetrahedral vertex (X,Y,Z), in every vertex
I calculated the temperature.
Now my problem is:
How can I plot a colored interpolated 2D image on a slice of this
cube (example the plane z=1) rappresenting temperature magnitude?

Thank you in advance for your help
