Your second IP ought to be a local network and not a routable one
Is there a way to configure this in windows?
or you are likely to run into routing issues. I.e., if your
statically
assigned address is in the same network as your DHCP assigned
address,
DHCP is also likely setting the route for that network to the first
interface. The whole network.
My subnet mask is 255.255.255.0 for my internet connection. How would
i go about splitting up the two, if DHCP is indeed trying to control
my 2nd NIC even though I've set a static IP and subnet mask?
