Old and new mat formats: which is better?
Hello
I've just been testing out -V7 vs -V7.3. For my 23 n by 4 matrices, the
older format uses 531 MiB whereas the new format uses 3.01 GiB and takes
much longer to save. I assume there must be some reason why 7.3 was
introduced; does anyone of any reason why I shouldn't just continue to use
the (on the face of it much better) V7?
TIA
