read files recursiveley

Hi,
I am trying to read files recursively from current directory and its
sub directories.

I searched online and found 'dirr.m' file in File Exchange however
that doesn't seem to catch the files in the sub directories.

Does anyone know if there is some code available already ?

I am considering using 'dir' command as used in 'dirr.m' but it will
take me some time to write a recursion loop.

Let me know your thoughts comments and best of of all source code.
