figure

I have a problem with matlab installed on a linux server (Fedora
distribution), if i log in from my client and start matlab from a
shell with the command

matlab -nodesktop

and I type the command

figure

the figure window appears on my client with the correct size, but if
i iterate the command typing

figure
figure
figure
figure

the size of the windows changes randomly from big sizes to tiny
sizes, this is a problem for me when i do scripts with multiple
graphic windows
