Hi Tim,
I verified that the example you provided below works in R14 SP3 or
later,
including the current R2007a release, both PowerPC and Intel-based
Macs. I
also verified that there is an issue with popup menus in R14 SP2
and
earlier.
I checked our bug database, however, and was not able to find a
problem that
matches your description exactly, though it does appear, based on
my
experimenting, that there was an issue that got resolved.
Yes, you can quote me.
I learned from a Handle Graphics engineer (Figure windows) that
they
knew
about this problem for X11 Figures on Mac, that it went away with
Java
Figures on Mac in R14 SP3 and later, and that putting them inside a
uipanel
works around the problem, so you should be good to go.
Brian
Hi Tim,
In addition to the information that Brian sent you, I found the bug
report that he was looking for: <http://www.mathworks.com/support/bugreports/details.html?rp=229903>
As he mentions, it was fixed in R14SP3.
Best regards,
Eric Sampson
