Hi,
did you compile using debug information (flag -d)? The visual studio runtime
libraries are free for the non debug libraries (therefore delivered with
windows)
but not for the debug version...

I'm unable to execute a MEX-file created by Matlab R2006a with Visual
Studio 2005(SP1) on another machine. But before I installed the
Visual Studio 2005 Service Pack 1, everything was OK. Both machines
run Windows XP SP2 and Matlab R2006a, but the machine on which the
MEX-file runs doesn't have Visual Studio.
The following message appears:
??? Invalid MEX-file d:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2006a\work\Shape
Context\EMD\Dist_BW_SC_EMD.mexw32': This application has failed to
start because the application configuration is incorrect.
Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
I have read the Technical Solution 1-2223MW
(http://www.mathworks.com/support/solutions/data/1-2223MW.html),
ut it doesn't solve my problem.
Thanks.
