Not sure what you mean by "release". Perhaps you want RMPATH?
With shared licenses and working on the local network, matlab
license
server keeps track of how many people are using a particular
toolbox.
The question is how would the server manager know, if someone is no
longer using a toolbox, so that it may be allocated to someone
else.
I know after a MATLAB session is closed, the toolbox license is
released. But what if someone has stopped working with that toolbox
but doesn't want to close the session becase of some unsaved work?
