In the demos it shows the ability to choose in the fitting

There should also be a "new fit" button on the top. If you

Thanks for quick response, but unfortunately i do not have the "new
fit button". Al I got is blank in top of that menu and table
options
at the bottom?! Is there something I must change in the set up or
options of matlab to allow for access to all menu options?! It is
driving me nuts.
thanks again
thanks
The only other possible thing I could think of: did you create a data set
in the CFTOOL yet? Click on the Data button and create a data set from some
variables in your workspace (if you don't have anything in your workspace,
load the census.mat file as sample data). Then try going to the Fit window
and see if the New Fit button appears/is enabled.
Also, just to confirm: what version of MATLAB, what operating system, and
what Java version are you using? Type "version -java" without the quotes at
the MATLAB prompt to determine the Java version.
