Editing figs in Release 14

Following are problems I am having with graphing and editing figures
in R14 sp3 (mostly editing):

I clicked on several lines in a ?.fig? file at once while holding the
shift key. When I change the properties (thickness or color), only
one line changes.

Can?t grab objects or start a zoom-in box near the top or bottom of a
subplot. The adjacent subplot was grabbed.

Want to use the ?arrow? cursor-style not the magnifying glass for
zoom delineation

A callback button in previously working code used to accept the
processed state and increment to the next file on a list. Now it
hangs.

A multi-panel figure with coded annotations is produced much slower
than previously (R13 sp1). Many editing/selections are also working
very slow.

Several dotted reference lines will not properly select and delete.

Any fixes or workarounds?

Is SP3 supposed to be a beta version? A friend says they too found
numerous bugs and had to go back to SP2.
