Ok. This is better, but you did not answer my other question.
You said their sum must also lie in the interval [1,3].
This is clearly impossible, since each number in that
interval must be at least 1. So the sum must be at least 5,
since there are 5 numbers.
Do you really want to say their mean instead of sum?
