NTP sync_unspec and stratum value(0) problem
I had a problem that NTP server gives the strange value.
I wanna know how to manage it; regards it as valid one or discard it?
The data NTP server sending is leap_none and stratum value is '0'.
NTP variable in the server is like below.
status=c011 leap_none, sync_unspec, .. leap=00 stratum=16.
I can guess that the server is not synchronized with higher ntp
server.
I'm guessing why leap is '00'.
I hope the answer to manage the situation in the view of client
program.
I think that the NTP packets are meaningless and discarded. is it
right?
and I wanna that it's related with KoD. (it's not consistent with KoD
condition; leap=3 and stratum 0)
thanks.
