Hello all,

I'm pretty new to SNMP and I'd like to do the following:

I'd like to query a certain node on a network (ie: a router or a
switch) using SNMP and get the list of its physical entities, such as
ports, sensor and so on...). I also would like to get any association
with logical entities such as interfaces.

Thank you in advance,

Andrea

you can use ipRouteTable to discovery routers first ,
and then use fdbtable to discovery switchs ,
if you do't know how to use fdbtable, you can test the device from
*.*.*.1 to *.*.*.255,all the device in subnet network will be
discovered.
