Thanks for your comment, Juergen.
I tend to agree on the fact that the main agent (snmp windows service)
should actually determine which SNMP version should a trap be sent out
on network.
1. As of now i have been unable to figure out how to configure windows
snmp service to send out traps in a particular version. Any idea on how
that can be done?
2. But still i would like to know if windows allows the extension agent
to govern the version of the traps sent by it ..
