Hi,

when I'm doing a C-Find query at series level, providing a study UID
in the request identifier, is the SCP supposed to also include that
study UID in the response identifier?
From my understanding of PS 3.4-2008, C.4.1.3.1.1 b), I would expect
this behavior: "...This identifier shall contain all of the unique
keys at higher levels...". Some PACS servers apparently don't return
the study UID though.

Thanks...

I share your interpretation, that C-FIND SCPs have to return unique
keys also of levels above the query level, if they are contained in
the C-FIND RQ.
If Relational-queries were negotiated, that's also true for all
requested keys above the query level. If Relational-queries are not
supported, the C-FIND RQ has to contain values for unique keys above
the query level already, so the values of unique keys of levels above
the query in the response identifier should just mirror the values in
the request identifier.
