dcm4chee-2.8.2, a J2EE based DICOM Archive application is now available
for public release at http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/dcm4che
Minimum System Requirements
JDK 1.4.2 or higher (JDK 5 is recommended)

100 MB hard disk space (additional to archive storage disk space)

a user forum at http://www.sourceforge.net/projects/dcm4che and a
mailing list (dcm4che-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) were you can direct
questions. I will try to answer each of them - but also hope, that
users which have already some experience in usage of dcm4chee help me
out...
