I am running Windows 2000 on a Dell GX280 PC. What I would like to do
is install the
Adaptec 29160 scsi card
Which one.
I have and hang (externally) some scsi hard drives off of it.
I am doing this so that I can format these particular scsi drives from
my pc instead of having them connected to the server in my server room. > The drives are Ultra320 scsi drives.
Is this possible? What type of scsi cable would I need?
Any cable that has the correct connectors.
Even an internal one will do, assuming the 64-bit ASC-29160
Do i need an adapter?
No. A powersupply would be nice tho.
