If you are just connecting the Sun Array SPARCstorage [tm] Array to the
SCSI connector on the 2940UW, you probably don't need anything. It will
should up as one (or more) disks.

The disks are being detected by the SCSI controller, which is sending
ENQ commands to each SCSI ID in sequence (0, 1, 2, 3, ..., 15) and as
each disk is seen, its access light goes off. The 2040 should be
spitting out messages like:

SCSI ID 0: MAKE MODEL SCSI-LVD
SCSI ID 1: MAKE MODEL SCSI-LVD

And these messages should be in sync with the drive lights going out.

The 2940UW should figure out its termination automatically, unless
specifically told otherwise -- the factory default is 'Termination:
Auto'. You can check this by typing Ctrl-A while the 2940UW is doing
its POST and bus scan. I suspect the same is true of the Array box as
well. During the system startup, does the 2940UW POST complain about
termination or cable problems? If not, you probably don't have to
worry about it.
