Really obvious question: is MS-Windows installed on the first primary
partition of the drive?
No, the really obvious question is what the exact error message was.
Apparently he has decided to make it a point not to tell what it
was and not make any effort in finding out where it came from.
He demands to be helped but refuses to help himself.
He's a troll.
That's why I asked the question, and as usual I wasn't disappointed.
Just for comparison, do you have any sort of Linux boot/install CDs?
Does, for example, a FC, WBL, or Centos CD1 come up and believe you have
a disk you could install Linux on?
