Maybe the power supply of the cabinet isn't capable of providing enough
power?!?
Besides this, do not expect IDE tape drives to work behind IDE<->USB
bridges. Most bridge chips are not able to deal with non-disc devices. If
you do get it to work, please post what enclosure this is, I might want one
;-)
