Hi,
Thanks for your answer. I tried everything to no avail, but ... while
checking out everything again and again, I detected as a matter of fact that
the scannerhead was only moving a little bit. Looking further, I discovered
that the Lock and Unlock symbols on the bottom of the scanner were not at
the right spot and I had to turn the screw further to fully unlock the head.
Now everything works ;-)
