I wanted ip4500 - couldn't get it anywhere (mid-december in the UK). They only choice was MP610.

Could not find a new one for sale on the web.
Then did a google search adding the word " Refurbished "
This turned up a number of new suppliers with refurbished machines.
Just about to purchase when I go into out of town Currys and see brand new IP4500
for sale. Obviously last one in shop so I think there are just a few still to be sold.

If you are in the UK and looking to purchase an IP4500, you will find that the Canon
Outlet on ebay uk is currently selling a steady stream of IP4500s refurbished by Canon.
The most recent one sold for £71.80.
