Hi: My trusted Canon has developed a nasty problem with the YELLOW cart
ink level. Regardless of the actual ink level (from empty to 100%), the
status monitor shows a steady 30%. There must be some way to fix this
problem. Any ideas.

These should be optical sensors. They can be fooled if the sensor or the
tank itself is dirty. Also dirty contacts on the head carriage.
