From computer, OK, there is a maintenance function for it, but I cound
not find any infos in the manual how to do it just alone.

I don't know of a specific head cleaning operation from the front panel but
there is a test page which will perform some cleaning.
Press and hold the Cancel button, and then press the Color Start Copy button.
