Not a VolksPrinter
Folks, you can go to Big!Lots in my area today and buy yourself a
genuine Hewlett-Packard 3740 printer for $20. Brand new.
It even comes with a #28 color cartridge.
Now for the fine print -- you gotta look for it on the box:
A black cartridge is "optional." It's said to speed up the printing.
The #28 color cartridge contains a whopping 8ml of ink.
The "optional" #27 black cartridge will give you, once you purchase it,
a more generous 10ml.
Not feeling very wealthy (I voted for Gore and Kerry, in a state in
which such votes were actually registered), I passed up this great
value. Perhaps you'd like one. On the other hand, you could also donate
the same money to Ken Lay -- it'd be a great value, too.
