Anyhow I have a HP 2000C printer, that worked fine until I changed the
Cartriges (NOT OEM, but they insist the chips are reprogramed). I am
using it with Windows XP Pro, and like (as?) I said before it was just
plug and play. (Normal pronter cable NOT USB) Now it prints the first
page fine, then lights flash, and I get a blank *** followed by a
low
ink warning ***.
It sounds like your replacement cartridges have a problem. You can
print a self test by turning on the printer, then press and hold the
power button, then press the resume button five times, then release the
power button. Check the ink level status of the supplies and replace
those that are low. If the "new" cartridges are reported as low contact
your dealer for a replacement.

Shows black as full -- the others empty, yet a single page prints just
fine in full color?
