They clog mainly as the result of not being used very often. My Photo 1280
clogs every now and then, but I print text pages rather frequently. I print
phots much much less. It seems more apt to clog when the cartridge is
getting down rather low.
On the other hand, my old Photo 700 seldom clogged.
