Ok, you are most probably right. It is just very frustrating buying an OS

understands thems (which is a possibility ...). Nevertheless, I have clients
that complain about this, when they have a problem on their Linux_RT systems
it usually takes less than 24h before they have half a dozen of solutions or
suggestions, when that happens with VxWorks your bound to pay, a lot - then
maybe (oops - sorry about that ...) get a solution. It is just very
frustrating. I like vxWorks and think it is a valuable tool - however it is
getting harder and harder to implement.
This new group is not supported or managed by Wind River.
AFAIK, it's not endorsed by them at all.
Wind River has a fairly large and competent technical support staff
and a
pretty efficient mechanism for getting to them. Use the online support
web
site to open a technical support request. If you've paid what you
consider
to be a large amount of money, you should be making maximum use of
OLS.
theFrom what I see, questions posted here about specific problems, where
poster shows some evidence that they've attempted to solve the problem
(and perhaps even read some documentation), get good answers.
Questions that require dragging relevant details out of the poster do
not.
