Thanks so much for the suggestion. In this case, we believe the Windows
Firewall is/was disabled. The laptop user will double-check anyway
because WF is capable of great weirdness and almost seems capable of
turning itself back on while you are not looking. If the Windows Firewall
is the culprit, I will post the information.
