I have a laptop which doesn't have a floppy drive and I don't want to
purchase an external floppy drive. So, the question is, can I copy all
3 floppies and create a bootable CD from this 3 floppies? Also, I
currently have 3 partition runnin on this laptop, 1=winxp, 2=linux
ext3, 3=linux swap. I also have grub installed on the mbr. What I would
like to do is create a 1GB partition for os2 and maintain the same
partition scheme that I currently have. I would also like to keep the
grub. I wouldn't want to install Boot Manager.
Any help, information would be appreciated.
BTW, what is technical/legal status on using ECS demo to install a
different version of the OS? The crucial step is partitioning,
formatting, and copying floppy images to the hard disk. After this,
one can trivially install from this partition.
The demo will not attach the harddisk.
