Have you tried dropping one of these emails on a program's icon (e.g. a
text editor)? You may not like the result.

Not likely to be fixed any time soon, then.There is a problem when dropping multiple message onto the desktop, though.
It seems to cause some dementia in the WPS: the default icon disappears
(no icon at all for the object), and some objects cannot be moved.
This is a bug in WPDatafile (or at least in its handling of subclasses).
