How do you remove an installed font? I performed the procedure to
install a font using the font palette, and that worked okay.
Unfortunately, it was the wrong font, and I want to remove it. The
font palette delete process does not delete the font, and I have tried physically removing the installed files in the PSFONTS directory, but the font is still shown as an option, and indeed, I can still select it.
Where are the fonts really stored, and how do I get rid of one of them?
Try the Registry Editor - regedit2.exe. Use the Edit menu's find and find next to search the Registry for entries using the name of the font that you installed and delete.
Regedit2 lives in \OS2\SYSTEM folder. Make a program object for it and place the object in your Utility folder on the Desktop for the next time.
