PARAMETERS=%*
That's news to me. On testing it, it doesn't work.
BTW: Currently WarpIN can't handle double quotes in setup strings, it
requires an embedded REXX call to do so.
I thought I did a workaround for things like this? Something to do with
using single quotes instead of double quotes in the outer string.

comments on a similar problem, IIRC.

It's most likely a WPS bug.
Hmm, I suspect they never even thought about it, so it is a complete lack of
implementation rather than a bug. The exact same thing as with the type
assocs.
