Recovering deleted files on JFS drive

Yesterday, I accidentally deleted a directory with about ten files. I
noticed this immediately and made sure that nothing got written to the
volume afterwards. I tried to recover the files with both June and DFSee
but apparently they are unable to find the files.

I used both the normal and the quick method in DFSee. And I let both
tools recover files with the approximate size of the ones I had deleted.
No luck.

Is there anything I can do? Note that I deleted the *directory* that
contained the files, not the files themselves.
