Naturally, you shouldn't do such a thing. However, if you do it on a JFS drive and you immediately turn to Jrescurer before you do anything else on that drive you can get everything back. If I remember correctly it can be found on Hobbes. If that doesn't work, try a Google search.

if i'm not mistaken you have to be registered to be able to recover.

I did a preliminary JU on the jfs drive. it does appear that I'd be able to recover most, not all of the files deleted.

I suppose it doesn't do directory undeletes?
