The concensus seems to be that I had better reconfigure, and I will. Part of
the problem may be in the fact that the BM is on the SCSI disk, which is no
longer Disk1 since I put in a new IDE HD.
What I am thinking of doing is removing the BM from the SCSI HD to the new
IDE HD, so that it is on Disk1. Disk2 would not be in the configuration at
all, being SCSI. I can then devote the second controller to the DVD burner
(Master) and the CD reader (slave). Pretty much as you suggest.
