Re: TAME 1.03a not working (sys3175 on program start) with eCS1.2MR German, LiDE60 over USB

Hi Paul and Andreas,

I reinstalled TAME 1.0.0rc3
I have reproduced the error as expected with a
Matrox MGA450 and SNAP and eCS 1.01:
Driver Revision: 2.5, Build 27
Driver Build: 446, Apr 27 2004
Resolution: 3840x1280 pixel
Colours: 64k
Refreshrate: 70Hz (93.5kHz)
Manufacturer: Matrox
Chipset: MGA-G450
Memory: 16384 Kb
DAC: Matrox Internal 24 bit DAC
Clock: Matrox Internal Clock
Monitors: 2 x Sony GDM-W900

In the "Known bugs and limitations" section
of the TAME documentation is said:

"Using a dual screen produces a corrupted GUI.
This happens with all apps developed with Dr.Dialog so
it's very unlikely you'll ever see a fix for that."

The error message disappears after a short moment.
Its the same REX041 error but with a line number in the 7000.

"REX0041: ***Bad arithmetic conversion***
EXPLANATION: One of the terms involved in an arithmetic operation
is not a valid number, or its exponent exceeds the
implementation limit (often 9 digits)."

The calling procedure seems to come from line 16.

A dump file has been written with reference to DRREXX.
Its about 1.4MB in size.
I could provide it via my ftp-server.

With access to the source code maybe it's possible to
use a different GUI package.

PS.: I was able to see the error message now (I disabled automatic mouse

stayed). Here is a slightly shortened version, as I had to hardcopy to paper

REX0041 Error41 running f:\...\Tame.exe
Call Toolbar Posimgwinpos (?)

Maybe this helps. Maybe Tame doesn't like my monitor setup (two 19' TFTs,
added resolution of 2560x1024)? Anyone with a dual monitor setup running
Tame?

Dunno... I've never had any similar feedback. Was this with a new or
old install of Tame?

When I get a chance - I'll look through the source code to see that
source reference you provided and see if I can debug it.

Cheers,

Paul.
