Gphoto2

Sometime in the past, about 18 months ago, I downloaded
this application (GPHOTO2.WPI), only to discover that my
camera coud only connect through USB, for which I had no
support on my system. I have since upgraded to Warp 4.52
and installed the required USB drivers, and tried again.
The command 'gphoto2 -v' gave the following result:
************

and 'gphoto2 --list-ports' gave

So far so good, but my camera (Kodak DX7590) is not
supported by this version.

I then found another version on URL
'ftp://ftp.netlabs.org/pub/gphoto/gphoto2-devpack.zip'
Unzipped this file and yes, my camera is listed as
supported.

However, the 'gphoto2 -v' gave the result:

BUT 'gphoto2 --list-ports' gave:

Does anybody have any idea what I have missed, or where I
have gone wrong?
