You are NOT using the Java that shipped with Warp 4 with Firefox. It shipped with Java 1.0.x, and you need at minimum 1.3.x.

Sorrt, Steve, but I have **NEVER** explicitly upgraded Java here, and I always disable Java in my web browsers (including Mozilla and Firefox).

The "java -version" command here shows the following:

 BigMike: OS/2 Fullscreen #3 > java -version
 JAVA.EXE version "JDK 1.0.1 IBM build os2-19960628"

Care to explain that?

Sure - like you said, you're NOT using Java with Firefox. You agree by saying that you have explicitly disabled it, although that setting makes no difference in your case.

Since the thread was about getting Java to work with Firefox, I had to interject since your comments sounded misleading.
