I tested it under plain DOS version 7.1. I understand that this is aThen I tried
INT a 10 BF00
which should select external monitor -- nothing happened.
and
INT a 10 BF01
which should select internal monitor -- nothing happened.
Did you test it under plain DOS (which version) or under any windos?
somewhat "shady" dos version.
May be. But I still see a little chance to do it in DOS. Take a lookI did not see a message at boot from the video BIOS. The computer BIOS
of the bios message of your VGA. It should come as first on boot.
Most VGA's have their own bios with their own extentions. If it is for
example a Cirrus Logic, then there is in the VGA-Bios an option to
switch from internal to external monitor.
is Phoenix version F.07. The video board is NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150.
If I find some utility on the web that fiddles with the NVIDIA BIOS,
maybe that would do it. BUT I think these utilities will work under
windows, and then when I boot into dos maybe the settings are lost??
For example if I set external + internal video under windows xp the
normal way (not with special utility), these settings are lost when I
boot into dos.
Thanks again, Torsten.
