laptop with only floppy drive: install with pccard?

I have a laptop with a floppy drive ( pentium, 32 M main memory, 1GB
disc)
Today, pccards are available with 1 and 2 Gbyte, ( CF card and
adapter ) to be used in a laptop.
Would it be possible to copy the iso file to a CF card, and use this
as install medium instead of a CD rom?
What should be done with the FAT file system that CF cards use
normally?
What device files uses minix3 for pc cards, and does the boot floppy
search these devices?
Suggestions ?
Thanks, Frits
.
