Hi All! There has been a lot of progress on major developments over
the last couple of weeks. So much is happening lately my head is
spinning! CP/M is a real hot bed for development lately!
First; the N8VEM Disk IO FDC CBIOS is close at long last. I think It
won't be long before we are using floppy disks with the N8VEM SBC. We
can format disks and mount them in CP/M, copy files and other stuff.
The CBIOS is still in development and not all the kinks worked out yet
but anyone can see it is made huge progress.

Second, the PropIO development has recently made a huge milestone.
Both the prototype units are working and using the PS/2 keyboard and
VGA display. Testing so far shows they are solid as a rock and very
fast. Next up is uSD media support and we are working with the my
good friends the Propeller crew (aka ZiCog and Triblade projects) for
some form of common disk image format support. Its a work in progress
and very encouraging also.

If you are interested there is always room for more builders,
developers, testers, etc. This is your chance to build your own home
brew computer from scratch -- including floppy drive support and the
new PropIO board!
Congratulations to all the N8VEM builders! It's their all work that
is making the N8VEM home brew computing project available for
everyone!
Thanks and have a nice day!
Andrew Lynch
