I was wondering if someone with a copy of eagle ( or another board generator ) could convert this simple ( but complete ) z80 schematic into a PDF for making a double sided board for it.
I was trying with the 'free' version but couldn't get it all to fit so abandoned that idea.
I could do it by hand, but would be difficult and messy.

Even tho its somewhat selfish as i have all the parts on my breadboard from the last z80 project that i never quite finished ( still plan on it someday tho ) Im sure others around here would appreciate it too.
just my 2 cents, and sorry for my bad english:
this kind of circuit can be easily mounted on perfored, one pad for hole, soldering protoboards ( in Italy called 1000 holes ) using semirigid copper wire for power supply ( like wire from UTP cables stripped from plastic ) and wirewrapping wire for signals ( and some patience ).
in this way you can obtain very high component density, your board should fit in 10 x 8 cm ( or little more :-) ).
to obtain the same board density with a real PCB you will have to put lot of tracks between pads of ic ( pad , track , pad , track ... ) and with lot of vias, obtaining a PCB hard to do at home.
So, at least, you need Gerbers files instead of a picture of the two sides of the PCB, to pass to the PCB fab.
I will make the board myself so images are just fine. I could do it manually with a 'pen' but that would be a pain that i really dont feel like going thru.
Ok, if you really want I can do the PCB project, I will give to you, or better to Thomas Scherrer ( if He want it ) the plains in Circad format : schematics and pcb (*)
but I need to know how capable are you in building PCB ?
things like pad size, track size , how you deal with trough hole vias, if you are able to manage a track between two pads on solder side
if you can manage tracks on component side starting at IC pads
(*) Circad is available for personal use without limitation

True, i could use perfboard, but i really want a PCB, not a bunch of wires to deal with..
