What are these jumpers for?

I have posted a picture of some jumpers on an IMSAI 8080 backplane at
http://www.solivant.com/jumpers.html . These jumpers bridge cuts to 5
traces (A12, A13, A14, A15, and pINT) that are clearly not accidents.
Can anyone shed some light on why these traces were cut and why the
cuts were bridged in this fashion?
Thanks.
