Tascam US-122 and "blue screen" problem

I know this is getting to be a familiar topic on such forums, but I
have looked at every thread I could find related to this topic and have
tried everything to resolve this problem, but it persists. If there are
any other Tascam-US-122 users out there who are running the device on
Windows XP Home Edition who have experienced this problem, your help
would be greatly appreciated.

Thus far, the problem appears to be related to playback of audio, as I
have a separate M-Audio Keystation midi controller that does not cause
this problem (btw - the problem existed before I added this second USBD
device). I also know this is not related to the software I am using
because it happens with Cubase LE, Live LE, and Cakewalk products. I
get the familiar "blue screen of death" with mini-dump msg after about
10 minutes of operation when audio playback is engaged with the USB
-Bugcode error.

I am running two other devices on USB: one is a lynksys DSL router for
my internet and the other is an HP 2100 series all-in-one psc printer.
Ocassionally when I send the error report after the crash I get a
response the the problem was caused by the Printer and HP is working on
a fix, but sometimes I get a message that it was a recently installed
USB device (I am assuming the Tascam) and that I need to unstall and
reinstall - I have already done this. I checked with HP and did
everything they suggested, but the problem still persists. I also have
all Windows updates and Service Pack 2.

I have also taken the suggestion from a user on a forum with a very
similar problem to uninstall all items under Universal Serial Bus (USB)
in the Device Manager in the Control Panel and reboot (which
reinstalls), but I still have the problem.

I have tried emailing and calling Tascam, but after 6 weeks I am
getting nowhere and am now quite frustrated with them.

Any thoughts on this would be most appreciated.
