Newbie Needs Help

I have a FreeBSD-6.0 server (A) running behind another FreeBSD-6.0 server
(B) that is my NATD/Gateway to the Internet for my LAN. I want to use (A) as
my outgoing mail server. Of course the usual port 25 blockage is being
applied by my cable provider (Comcast) but what I have found it that by
putting a line which contains the comcast smtp server in
/etc/mail/mailertable I can send mail from the command line on (A). That
works and I can get mail to the outside world using (A).
What'd I'd like to do now is to have my WinXP machine on the same LAN to use
(A) as it's outgoing smtp. But when I send mail to this machine and expect
it to get out I receive this error message from Outlook Express:
The connection to the server has failed. Account: '10.0.0.254', Server:
'10.0.0.254', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error:
10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E
Can anyone tell me what I can try next to get this working...will I even be
able to get it working. I'm pretty sure this worked for me in the past. I
think it did....I hope it did because I think it really did once work like
this.
