Go to the local folder.
You can select all (; foll. by A), and then apply the save command . You will be prompted as to the location of the folder - where you can give the IMAP folder.
Of course, you will first have created the folder on the IMAP server.

is there a way to copy a local folder to an imap server using pine/alpine,
